The Picayune Housing Authority provides decent, safe, and affordable public housing to eligible low-income families. The Housing Authority manages a total of 284 housing units. Of these, 192 units are located in the Family Housing community and include one through five-bedroom apartments. The remaining 92 units are located at The Pines, a community designed for elderly and/or disabled residents, offering one and two-bedroom apartments. ADA/Section 504 accessible units are available at both locations.
At this time, the waiting list for one-bedroom apartments in the Family Housing community is closed, and applications for those units are not being accepted.
